On October 11th, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) held the 2018 Real Estate Trends Conference at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. The Annual VCU Real Estate Trends Conference is one of the leading meetings in the region for the discussion of ideas and information about real estate. Several members from RPOA had the opportunity to attend the meeting, including RPOA Treasurer, David Galpern. Speakers included economist Elliot Eisenberg, Ph. D. and Steve Weikal, Head of Industry Relations at the MIT Center for Real Estate. This conference attracted real estate professionals from various industry sectors and provided them with the opportunity to look into the future of real estate, to share their expertise, and to build and strengthen professional relationships. During the December General Membership Meeting, David will give an overview of what information was shared during the 2018 Real Estate Trends Conference.
